Rules | Application | Characters | Special Information on the Children Have you ever wondered what happens when a pregnant woman gets sentenced to Azkaban? What if the Ministry forces them to be pregnant in Azkaban then takes the children when they're born and raises them all in a government facility where they do tests on them to see what sort of effect being a "Child of Azkaban" has on them? And what if Hermione finds out about it and goes on one of her human rights crusades and gets the Children released into foster homes? What would it be like for those Children adjusting to living in the "real" world? The game begins with Hermione's discovery of a secret research facility run by the Ministry of Magic where they raise and experiment on the "Children of Azkaban" - children born while their mothers are imprisoned in Azkaban. Hermione has just successfully led a campaign to end this cruel practice, and the Children are now being released into the custody of foster families willing to take care of them and help reintroduce them to the Wizarding World. All of the children are of Hogwarts age and will be starting the school in the fall. This is a new Harry Potter rp set to start soon. It is current-day, books (but not epilogue) complient, though if you wish to apply for a character who died in the books, please read our note on the Characters page about this.

Down in Albion is an IJ-based real-person roleplaying game based in London, England, which opened on the 8th of February 2008. Down in Albion chronicles the lives of musicians and other celebrities who live and work in the London area on a day-to-day basis. Although it was developed around the members of The Libertines, Dirty Pretty Things, and Babyshambles, all musicians and celebrities are welcomed.

We are accepting characters who aren't exactly who they are in real life (see Jon Walker the Starbucks employee for an example), but we request that any DirtyLiberShambles types be who they really are. That said, we will be harder on apps for characters who aren't really themselves to try to control disguised OCs. If you don't want to play someone who is well known, we encourage you to pick up a girlfriend/boyfriend/friend of the people already in the game (though if you do decide to take the route of picking up someone already involved with someone already in the game, we encourage you to contact that player first just to make sure you're on the same page.) Our lists of taken, held, and most wanted characters can be found at the 'Characters' link above.

Okay, people. For various reasons, we're currently looking for a game to play Peter&Carl in, preferably one that allows mpreg but if not, at least adoption. *sighs at self* Also, a game which would let us kill off Lisa and have Carl adopt Astile. We would prefer a journal-based game, but AIM-based is not completely out of the question. Furthermore, we would prefer a game based in England, but a US-setting isn't a deal killer, either. We have no clue where to find such a game, and digging through rp ad comms just comes up with a lot of stuff that's not rps-friendly, so any help with pointing us in the right direction would be greatly appreciated. LJ, GJ, IJ... wherever, just so long as we find a home for our boys.

Supposing we are unable to find anything, we are willing to ponder creating a game of our own, but only if we can find people willing to play other people for them to interact with. We are not interested in starting a Polskie Stronnictwo Ludowe (if you don't know what that is, look at the abbreviation and apply it to RP terms. I simply refuse to use it because I think it's Stupid. With a capital S), so other people are a must. We would especially love a game (of our making or someone else's) with other Libsdom etc people, but that's not a requirement since they're so fucking hard to find, and fucking impossible when you want Peter AND Carl. So, if anyone would be interested in joining such a game, I'd love to hear from you.

Also, should we go the create-our-own-game route, I have modded before, and I'd like to think I'm at least halfway decent at it, so such a game could be up and running fairly quickly, if that's a worry. In fact, it's more likely to be up quickly because we do want to play as soon as possible.

I'm just going to go through the list and respond to each point from the opinion that most of this is not a white-only thing. i'll probably have more to say on this when my brain is a little less dead from wedding crap.

Background on where I'm coming from: in the US, yes, but in a major city that is at least 2/3 black with the city government being almost exclusively black.
